OT: DCIN needs your old/unused meters

DCIN (Diabetic Cats In Need) helps low income caregivers who would have to euthanize or re-home their diabetic cats due to not being able to afford the expenses that come along with this diagnosis. We provide insulin as well as testing supplies but as most of you know, our favorite meter has been discontinued.

We STILL really need your unwanted glucometers, but ONLY Arkray 01s, ReliOn Confirms, ReliOn Micros, and One Touch UltraMinis. The first 3 listed are the ones we've used for years due to their very small sample size, but the manufacturer has stopped making them. We CAN still get strips for them, however.

Once we can't source any more of those meters, we'll be switching to the One Touch UltraMini, which has a slightly larger sample size, but which takes generic strips, thus keeping the ongoing cost down. We could really use any of those you might have and not need.

If you have any of these meters laying around and not being used, please consider sending them to DCIN so we can continue to help new sugarcat moms and dads!

I know you are asking for meters but would you consider syringes new still wrapped and in boxes

 

We can always use syringes too!! We have plenty of clients who will give them a good home!!

Can you also use several boxes of lancets and lancing devices of various brands?

I need help dcin tells me back-in august they would help my baby but i got no where ? Why is that ? I am a low income family im on disability they said i qualified . I followed all instructions sent my documents , joined the forums but no ones helped salem ? dollydagger@centurylink.net please help me find out why i didnt get any help ? Thanks !
