http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/posts/2523063/ Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope you all have a lovely day whether you're celebrating today or not Ming's been on 2.5 units for a while with some ok cycles and one really randomly high RED number... This is new-ish to me: seeing cycles that have a curve. I'd much prefer a flatter cycle to minimize bouncing. I don't know if he's bouncing because of the curve or this is just a new normal... Ming got his urine taken for a UCPR test today. I weighed him again and he lost weight 2 weeks ago, he was 8.1 kg. Today, he is 7.8 kg. I thought I was over analyzing him because I thought he looked skinnier these past couple of weeks. The vet who was here today said that's quite on brand with hyperthyroidism and we should continue monitoring his weight. I'd love it if someone could take a look at his SS and let me know what you think. There was one cycle that needed to be aborted because my mom had to sleep. The next morning produced a RED number and I was really shocked to see it. My sister had taken away the HC and honey when she got home too.
Nadirs in the 50’s don’t give you much room to increase. Red was either celebrating Valentines Day too early, or bounce from fast drop the previous night and shortened duration due to HC. No worries, he got over it quickly. Maybe fast drops need a bit of fresh carbs just before onset.
PMPS = 338 ew... Time to experiment with carb contents at onset. I’ll try LC tonight just to get a “control” cycle haha! If that makes sense. He did drop to 90 this morning. Might have went lower but I fell asleep.
