Biscuit weathered the night. I wasn't happy about my husband going to bed after the 55 reading (he stays up later than I do) but he did feed him a bit of HC and watched him eat it so I guess that's something.

Biscuit ate about 1/2 of his food this am but had another nice low BG reading. I'm hoping his lowering BG levels means it is an abcess and the pain is decreasing... Fingers crossed it's not cancer. I don't mind helping my kitties through their managable illnesses - Biscuit has diabeties, his sister Okie has Hyperthyroid and CKD, but cancer ... that's just not something he'll make it through. I know we'll lose them eventually (they are 17 and 18 years old) but I really am hoping my son is in college then. He's 16 now. Ah well, at least given the virus we are spending alot of time at home with them.

Here's hoping for a good day for everyone.

I hope his mouth heals and it's just an infection. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

He’s still drooling a little bit but eating more. Tonight he seemed hungry for dinner. I have to let him eat, then mound up what’s left, put some fortiflora on it and track him down and he’ll eat some more. He is still active in that he LOVES to go out back with us each evening, and lay in the grass and chill. Or come to my lap for pets... I’m really encouraged by his numbers. Hoping the access is dwindling and it’s lack of pain that’s making his BS go low but we won’t know for sure till next Tuesday’s check-up. Fingers crossed. I wish the drooling would subside. I was brave tonight and shot the 77 as he weathered last nights 79 but we’ll see.

I’m assuming given his 47, (although I gave him some HC and will be testing again in a few mins) that I should skip the pain meds tonight as I have heard the lower BG as well and he is already so low??

Always good to stay ahead of pain, I would give pain meds, as well as HC.
