I'll be ordering Lantus from Marks Marine. If you have RECENTLY ordered—within the last month, since the USPS issue–can you share your shipping experience? Delayed, on-time, and your location/state for perspective. I'm hoping my proximity to the pharmacy in Vancouver will mean fewer worries (I'm in Spokane WA), but who knows.

    Thanks!

I can’t speak for delays, but it’s summer so definitely get the extra insulation packing they offer!

I'd give them a call and ask them if they're hearing any complaints about their packages taking longer than usual. They send a LOT of packages every day to the US so if they were being delayed, I'm sure they'd know about it.

They're more than happy to answer questions and it's a free call

Your kitty looks like a kitty of mine that I lost in 8/18 and I miss him every day.

It's not just the USPS, Canada Post is very slow as well.

In Canada any community built after 1980 has community mailboxes, post offices have all been farmed out to local businesses (ours is in the back of a big chain of pharmacies) and there are no more Parthenon style post offices downtown. It's like no more caboose at the end of trains, it was nice but not really needed.
I recently ordered a laptop battery from a warehouse 30 minutes away, it took over a month to get here.

Big hugs for UPS, FedEx etc. for being out in the real world and saving me repeated trips out of our safe zone. If or when the high school across the street opens it's doors to 1,900 kids I'm taping the windows closed. This would be the perfect time to sell millions of basic laptops with no bells and whistles at little or no profit but that will never happen.

A caboose is a manned North American railroad car coupled at the end of a freight train. Cabooses provide shelter for crew at the end of a train, who were formerly required in switching and shunting, keeping a lookout for load shifting, damage to equipment and cargo, and overheating axles.
    caboose :p

@Critter Mom Just be thankful you have National Rail and Eurail and not our dilapidated system. Other than subways (I've always preferred "The Tube") every train in North America runs on filthy diesel. High speed rail is a dream and Canada's idea of safety resulted in this
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lac-Mégantic_rail_disaster
Basically two idiots left a 74-car freight train carrying crude oil at the top of a hill. The locomotive crapped out so there go the air brakes. The train then rolled down a hill and derailed in the center of a small town called Lac-Mégantic. Forty-two people dead, 30 buildings in the town's center destroyed, all but three of the thirty-nine remaining downtown buildings had to be demolished due to petroleum contamination.
The track has since been restored to it's former glory, right through the middle of town.

A parcel shipped yesterday morning from Oakville. It arrived this morning.
Caboose: also slang for your backside.

Eight minutes – the exact amount of time it took to drive from our house to the daycare centre.

When I had an inguinal hernia I lost 75 pounds.
    my caboose was smaller.
It was however years before any of this that the train left the station.
