We are on day 6 of 0.1 now. Hit a few greens but not many wondering if he needs a little increase and on the plus side all his bloodwork came back good. The doc thinks he might have an infection or possibly IBS. We are waiting for the antibiotics. And he was so happy, he congratulated me on seeing how far opi’s number have come down since we started in the 700s at diagnosis

    Hi Jena,
The numbers have trended up a bit but if the vet thinks he could have a UTI and is giving him antibiotics, I think I would wait and see if the antibiotics bring the numbers back down first before increasing. Just to be safe. If you increase the dose and the antibiotics bring the numbers down the numbers might drop too low. Better to change one thing at a time.
