Since it looks like you're following TR (based on your signature)...it's time for an increase.
Not sure what 'partial fur shot' means...I probably missed those conversations...
Your cute kitty needs more insulin. Can you increase at PMPS?
I don’t give dosing advice, but are you sure about the increase given the two recent fur shots and his proclivity for huge dives?it's time for an increase... Can you increase at PMPS?

I don't give dosing advice but per TR, you should hold for 6 consecutive cycles - the partial fur shot restarts the count. It's up to you of course what you do but FWIW I haven't seen kitties fast track TR (but I also don't hold a candle in experience to Sue or the mods). If it was my cat, I'd wait to increase.Yes, I will bump him to 2.5 tonight
nervous

FWIW, you didn't know what you didn't know - we are all so glad you found FDMB and Ollie is okay. Now that you are testing, you'll keep him safe
I had to edit my post because I didn't realize the FS was so recent (I was counting from the other FSuntil morning

Any history of ketones for Oliver? I'm not a big fan of increasing at PMPS - simply because there's a chance that he'll respond and you'll have a PJ party - not a big fan of those...
I will wait until we are safely past those fur shots. And, I agree! AM is the best time to change the dose ... I can keep a close watch on him!
SO as long as hopefully the numbers are coming down today - not black - and there's no history of ketones - then Susanne has an excellent point - you could wait until morning...you're the one holding the syringe.![]()
No history of ketones for Oliver.
I had to edit my post because I didn't realize the FS was so recent (I was counting from the other FS) - so the FS was just last night, so 6 cycles would be PM 03/27 with the earliest increase 03/28 AM. They had a previous FS on this dose too but IMHO the depot didn't get to build then either. IDK on dosing just was pointing out the consecutive cycles wording in TR and I'll leave the rest to those with more experience

yes! That is exactly what I was thinking. I want to see if there is a food bump. If no food bump at +1 or +2, especially if he drops, I plan to give him a couple teaspoons of medium carb food. That usually helps him. Then I’ll try again at +3 and decide from there. Thanks for validating my thoughts. Appreciate it.I’d get a +1, +2, and +3 to see how things are trending and go from there. What are your thoughts?
Please stay on top of that. Oliver does seem to respond to carbs but it’s early in the cycle. I’d get a +2.5. @Bandit's Mom are you around to help if needed?+2 is 65. I gave Ollie a little mc food to see if that will even him out. Will test again.
Just came online and saw the tag. Please stay on top of that. Oliver does seem to respond to carbs but it’s early in the cycle. I’d get a +2.5. @Bandit's Mom are you around to help if needed?
Lol. And right, Ima gonna need that coffee!!!Yay, beautiful cycle! Here'sfor when you get up
So, that would be "hold the dose" lol.
Gah! These dudes! Don’t they know they give us heart failure!? Their little livers are giving us the business! I think Oliver secretly enjoys this as he gets gravy food when he scares me. I hope Fred finds his way out of the black soon!! Thanks for saying hi -I just wanted to say "hang in there" and that you're doing an amazing job. I have a real bouncer as well, and he's just started entertaining me with greens that lead to blacks. For Fred, even his rare blues lead his liver to panic. One cycle last week, he dropped 600 points in one cycle...while I was on vacation! I have a feeling there were more greens than caught, as my petsitter (who was amazing) couldn't test overnight. So I'm a little lost on dosing as well.
Anyway, just a wave from a fellow bouncer! All good thoughts to Oliver!
