I know you are tired but the amps after a beautiful night fir Ollie is exciting to see.

 

It REALLY is. Makes it all worth it to see him in those healthy numbers.

 

His SS looks like that of a different cat altogether and it's all your hard work!

 

And all the help I have gotten from you, Elise, Wendy and others made it possible. I am so encouraged lately, and could not have done it without you.

Oliver went down to 48. Feeding mc right now to hopefully bring him back up.

 

I would have gotten a +3. Please test again. You need to test every 30 minutes when under 50.

I had checked him at 4.25, he was up to 52. I’ll check him again right now. He finished eating at about 4,50

 

I’m ok let’s see I he is still 52 or hopefully above.

Way to hang in there, Shelley. I check in on you two multiple times a day, even if I don’t say anything. I think Oliver is a perfect example of just why hometesting is soooo important — sometimes vets and even owners make assumptions when they see a high number and have no idea what happens next. It’s great to see how quickly you embraced TR and adapted to Oliver’s needs.

The folks who give dosing advice can confirm whether today’s 48 warrants a reduction to 1 unit. Given it’s the 4th cycle at 1.25u, I think that’s probably likely. If not, he sure looks like he’s heading there soon.

I’d be inclined to stick with 1,25 tonight. Think he’s heading to a reduction though so if you want to try it you could, especially if you are too tired should he not bounce and need monitoring.

 

I am tired. I will shoot 1u and if he heads the wrong direction we will adjust. Thanks everyone!

 

Ok. It does look like he’s bouncing so you should not need to test much past ++2 at all with the reduction.
