Still on 4 units. I don't like her high AMPS. We went back to raw yesterday, I ran out last week and covid being in the house again, could not go buy more until yesterday. I'm not sure what to feed her, she loves the Tikki cat pates but they seem to have a higher content in carbs than I thought. She's allergic to fish so it's hard to find pates!

Biggie is allergic to chicken, so I have tried a lot of the novel protein varieties…I’ve been feeding I and Love and You pates I get on Chewy. The beef and rabbit are low carb. They do have salmon oil- she may be able to tolerate that since it’s usually the proteins that cause the allergies, but you know your girl best! I hope you find things she likes, she is such a cutie!

Thank you, Jackie! Yes, fish oil is usually fine, there is some in some of the varieties of raw food that she gets (Woody's, it's a local brand). She loves the I and Love and You, but I cannot find it anymore, I used to buy it at Fresh thyme but now they have Blue Buffalo instead, and I don't like their list of ingredients. I will look on Chewie, thank you for the tip! I have a lot of cans of Tikki, so maybe I can alternate. I feed her the cans at night since it's in her automatic feeder, I don't want o leave raw food for 2-3 hours, so I'm wondering if that might be the reason of her "high" AMPS.

Chewy is having a great deal right now on a lot of their food including the I and Love and You brand - buy $80 and get a $25 gift card. I am going to stock up, and hope Biggie keeps on liking it! ;)

Oh, nice! I was looking at their ingredients, they are very similar to Tikki. I tried to calculate the carbs bu they don't give the ash content, I will email them. Or check the list, maybe they are on it?
Thanks again!

People usually ask in the questions section under the food on Chewy’s website and the company responds. For the beef flavor it is 7.25% and the Rabbit is 3.76% carbs on a dry matter basis.
These were answered a few years ago, so it’s possible it changed. If you email them, please let me know what they say!
