Hello, we have already returned from vacation and it looks like it was better there because it had yellow spots. Yesterday we increased the dose to 1.25. he looks like always there is nothing different

@Bandit's Mom and @Christie & Maverick
Just been chatting to Xelo she is concerned that he is not improving and that compare to other cats ss she looks at he is getting worse.

Xelo is just back from vacation so has taken him back up to 1.25, and you will recall that she's just made the switch to TR, and Sinver has also had DKA, Xelo has also implemented a feeding regime where she is feeding him more, to try to get his weight up but trying to keep those feeding before +7 in the cycle, he getts pretty insistent on wanting food, whilst on vacation he was free fed. Can't do that at home as she has a multi cat household.

I've shared a couple of ss with her Bobbi and Bubbas and of course Black Kitty.

Do you think you could comment on what you see on the ss and also share perhaps some more recent ss of cats that have had a rocky start to fd, before getting regulated?

Thanks

Hang in there, Xelo. He just needs to get to a good dose and TR will help you get there sooner. :bighug:

I haven't been keeping up, but are the other cats not on a low carb canned diet? Some cats don't do well with long gaps between meals - some of them get hangry, others get stomach acid - in such cases it's okay to feed a little a snack of the lowest carb food that you can find in the second half of the cycle.

Here are a few spreadsheets of cats who took their time but got there:

Sinvers brothers and sisters are not on LC food, they are fed in separate rooms. Up until fd Sinver was free fed on kibble, Xelo feels he perhaps gets anxious when there's no food down. She has been giving him a little food at +8,a small snack if he is hangry, giving most in the earlier part of the cycle.

Thanks

Eta @Bandit's Mom
She has also started giving him more food and that has helped, he needs to gain some weight after he went from 7kg to unde 4kg at diagnosis, was 4.8kg at last weigh in today.

Espera, Xelo.
