Thank you for asking, Wendy! It is amazing, she recovered completely in just a few days. She was limping 3 days after and nothing since that. It's been 3 weeks now. She is not taking any pain meds anymore, still on Plavix. We saw a cardiologist and she had a cardiac echo on september 25th, everything is normal, they did not see any clot or anatomic anomaly that could explain why she had one. The cardiologist said to keep Plavix once a day for 2 weeks, then every other day for a few weeks and then stop it as well. I am so relieved, she scared us.
The only abnormal thing was the thckening of the intestinal wall on the abdominal echo. I am keeping a chart of her vomiting as you advised and will try to see if there is a pattern in that.
She is doing very well and completely back to her normal self, with jumping on the island and trying to steal food from us (pizza from my son’s hands at lunch today... for example). And cute standing up on 2 legs.
