She is in a very good mood today, I went back to sleep after her shot and she came to wake me up and started playing with my hands and feet on the bed. It's been a long time since she did that, I love it.
I decreased today to 1.75, I was giving her a "skinny 2" (I noted 1.9, with the callipers that's what I was doing).
I am not sure what I should do tomorrow. My son has a concert (last one for a few weeks, phew. He had 5 in the last 2 weeks, I mean, the 4th one is today) and needs to be there at 5:45. Her regular time is 7. I can do 6:30 tonight and tomorrow morning and then 6 am tomorrow, but taht is still too late, we need to leave at 5:15 and will not be back until close to +3. I might just skip the shot and consider it a FS. Or do it early but smaller dose. Any ideas?

What if you delayed the shot by 20 mins instead? So shoot at 7:20 pm tonight, 7:40 tomorrow morning and 8ish tomorrow night (or whenever you get home). Shooting late can act like a decrease, but it would be better than skipping or shooting early which can act like an increase.

I assumed you will be back around 8:15

No, I will be back around 10 pm, sorry that was confusing, +3 after her regular shot time. That will be 5 hours after I leave.

Is there no one else who can give her the shot? DH? You could measure the dose before you leave and put the syringe in the fridge.

If there isn't anyone, then a skip might be the only choice, considering you have to leave almost 2 hours before your usual shot time and won't be back for 5 hours after. The other option is to shoot late (at 10pm) and then work back to your usual shot time, but that might not be convenient.

Thank you, Bhooma. I can try to ask, maybe a neighbor. DH might be able to. His first choice would be to be at the concert, but he has patients late and it's a little far away, so if he has to stay home, that's what we'll do.
I thought about pushing it late but I can't, that will be way too late for me to stay up and check on her, especially with Lucas' schedule. He needs to be at school at 6 am tomorrow to rehearse... I need my sleep. And I need him to drive, but that's another problem  not cat-related!

I recall reading a couple of older posts suggesting shooting every 18 hours until you get back on track. @Bandit's Mom do you recall this somewhere? I'll start searching and let you know if I find it.
OK, I just read the post limked by @SmallestSparrow . I could do that. I'll still try to find someone, but if it does not look possible, maybe this would be the best option. Thank you, @Angela & Cleo !

Hi Cecile,
great to hear that Bella was playful. Binie also used to play with hands and feet but that was ouch...... I hope Bella is more gentle. Sounds like you found a solution for your problem tomorrow. Good to hear that! Enjoy the concert! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, Bella is very gentle when she plays, usually. I had a cat when I was in college, I got her when she was a few weeks old, and ouch, those teeth were like needles, she would bite my toes though the sheets. Bella tries to catch whatever is moving with her paw, but without scratching, which is great. She scares easily, though.
Today he has a brass choir concert, he plays trumpet and the group is going to play 2 pieces that he composed :-) so it's a big day! Tomorrow he will play the viola with the youth symphonic orchestra. Big one too. Last wek they were school band and jazz band concerts, not as much work but still fun! And I missed my daughter's violin recital because she is in Montreal and me in Minneapolis.

I can imagine Bella is doing it in the sweetest way! Wow, that really sounds like a great day for your son and I can understand that you are moving mountins (and shots) to be with him. I am sure Bella will do great with her perfect numbers. I hope someone made a film about your daughters recital! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, one of the other musician's boyfriend did, and there will be a video of the whole recital. It was weird to miss it but it's life, I guess, they grow up and leave!
