Sweet Tiberious

Hello everyone. This is Kevin, Susan's husband. I regret to inform you that after much discussion and care for Tiberious, we ended his suffering today. :cry: She & I have the deepest gratitude and appreciation for everything you did for us and Tiberious, but his suffering was too much. I took him to the vet this morning and was with him until the end. He was the sweetest cat and friend anyone could ever have. We both will miss him dearly, but are relieved that his pain is finally gone, even if ours is just beginning. He knows that his momma & dadda love him very much & will forever have him in our thoughts. He is with his brother and all the other cats & dogs we both have lost along the way. I hope that we can continue helping others with support on this message board and will be contributing to the LLEF as well to help other cat lovers like us in their difficult times. Thank you all again for your time & generosity, we can't tell you how much it has meant to the three of us!

I know how very much you love this beautiful boy and that this was a decision made out of pure love for him. You showed him the greatest love each day of his life but even more so when it was time for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I will light a candle for sweet Tiberious to guide his way to his GA brothers and sisters. We will hold you all close in our hearts and hope that you will always feel at home in Lantus Land and visit whenever you can.

Tears flowing here in KC sharing in the grief of the loss of your sweet Tiberious. You are right in that his trip to the bridge is made with the full knowledge that he was loved as much as a cat can possibly be loved by two humans who put his needs before their own heartbreak. Thank you all for your kind words. My heart is aching and a little piece of me died today with my sweet faced Tiberious. This is the first time today that I could sit down and type without bursting into to tears completely. Kevin, my husband was kind enough to do the post earlier. I just want to second his sentiments. Words cannot convey the gratitude and love that we feel for everyone here. If anything good has come from this, it's knowing that there are people like you- loving, generous,caring people. People who don't even blink at the thought of immediately helping someone you may barely know. This, as far as my life experience has taught me,is uncommon and rare to say the least. You all will never know how much you have saved me today and through this whole process.

I cannot even begin to say how truly sorry I am that Tiberious has earned his Guardian Angel wings and now has
crossed the Bridge. I have been away this past week but everyday I peaked in to check on how he was doing.
I gasped on my drive home when I saw the candle, and tears came streaming down.
My daughters' just asked, "mommy, which kitty?"
They understand the affects this board has on all of us.

You and Kevin dearly love your boy and knew the hardest and most loving decision was to set him free.
We here in LL are a wonderful family and short as it may seem, you have touched all of us.
I am glad that we are able to be part of your journey with Tiberious.

The most loving gift for your sweet boy - the most difficult decision for you- we can never keep these wonderful creatures with us long enough. They give so much and ask so little.
