4/18 punkin amps 225 +6/61 pmps 153

yesterday with lab reports and catnip video

great day yesterday - punkin's amps was 101, am+4/34, surfed in greens til pmps 170, then 166 at pm+5. yesterday morning's dose was 6.5u, we reduced to 6.0 last night to let the shed drain a little and so we didn't have to test all night, then we came back up to 6.25u this morning and will let that settle in now. see what it does. poor little guy got 15 pokes yesterday - and several applications of neosporin with pain relief.

i'm wondering where he'll go today. i'm headed out of town for a few hours, leaving about +3.5, so if there's any sign of him dropping he's going to get to go bye bye with me. :lol: not his favorite thing, but then i won't worry.

DH and i were talking about punkin last night. we have this whole narrative assigned to him.

when he's purring while we fix the food, we think he's saying "this is awesome. it's gonna be good."
when he purrs while he's eating, we think he's saying "this is awesome. it's so good!"
then when he purrs after he's done eating, we think he's saying "this is awesome. that was SO good."

we should all have such a great life narrative! there's a lot to be learned from a cat.

Hi guys .. nice yellows! How funny on your narrative of punkin .. we do the same with our kitties .. except, they mutter quite harsh words about us beanz when we don't get up at their every demand! Have a great day guys!

 

punkin ended up on a road trip with me today - didn't complain too much during the 1.5 hr drive there or home, and didn't complain (in my hearing at least - hahahaha!) while he waited 3 hours in the car in the restaurant parking lot while i caught up with some former work cohorts.

i am so thrilled with his numbers. finally feel like he's making progress. didn't drop the dose tonight and hoping i'm not in for a pj party with him.

 

Very nice cycles for mr. punkin. I love it! Your guy is rather food focused. :lol: :lol: Tillie says "MEEEOOOW!!", Zener says "meow", and we say, "Show us what you want" and follow them to whatever they want and then of course almost always give it to them.

Thanks for visiting Mannie today. I am sorry that I don't have enough time to adequately visit everyone/anyone.... I sure do miss Punkin, and think of you guys all the time. I still remember his journey to Colorado, and that one photo: both kitties with their faces against the car window... funniest thing ever.

Punkin is looking good! I even see some green there, Way to go! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I just loved the catnip video! punkin's coat color is pretty much the same as Daphne's. Now, if only I can get a few pounds off of Daphne, they could be sister and brother. So sweet, that little face in the camera too! Daphne also likes catnip, but I never tried the fresh. I can put some on our deck for her, I know she would love that too.

Thanks for the tips on uploading a pic. I'm going to play tomorrow, that one picture exhausted me. :lol:
