Well two days ago Ms Musette everytime I tested her kept giving me a falling number so I withheld her insulin to see if I could get her to give me a couple rising numbers in a row, which she would go up right after eating and then proceed to keep giving me falling numbers again...finally yesterday she started giving me enough rising numbers so I went ahead and gave her just a tiny .1u to see how she would do...today I awake to a lovely 64 and she hasn't been higher than 86 all day and that was right after she ate, then she drops right back into the 60s again...

At this point I think I'm just going to let her be, test her often and if she gets above 150 give a tiny drop of insulin and see if we are headed towards OTJ status...(Fingers crossed).

That's great, Mel! Looks good. It's normal for a little increase after food, and bringing herself down is wonderful.

    Go, Musette!

Hi Mel and Ms. Musette, Beautiful green mile yesterday! I'm sorry it didn't last but the numbers you are seeing now are most likely her body rebelling at the nice "normal" numbers. Hang in there!

Mel, I saw the DCIN report about Musette not eating and having mild ketones! What a surprise. I know they want to keep Musette safe. I hope she's doing better this morning.

Hugs. She's been doing so well. Any idea why she wouldn't eat? Maybe she's scared to go OTJ!

Cheering Musette on to go OTJ!!!!! Go Musette, go Musette!

Mel, you simply have the patience of a saint, and all of your hard work with unique/non-conformist Musette IS going to pay off!
