6/26 Atlas AMPS 138

Condo

Three blue starts in a row....nice going big guy. It seems we are again or have again reached that point where Atlas has reduced his appetite. This is where I often get very shakey on dosing. He normally gets 6 rabbit nuggets(6 oz) per day, but the package does say 2-4 for a normal cat. He is likely eating 3, which is about half what I normally feed him.

I won't say he is totally off his appetite as kibble raids and treats are still motivating him quite well. And his early morning antics to get me up have remained consistent. His play mood has been very good, he has even taken to sitting in the cat yoga window in the morning which is unusual for him as he has never window sat before.

In other words all appears well if he were a normal cat.

My cats have been off in their eating too. I think it's just that time of year.

 

Yay Attie you're starting to eat like a 'normal cat' (whatever that is :lol: ). It may indeed be the weather decreasing his appetite (and the lovely numbers :smile: ) since I'm getting colder I'm assuming you're getting warmer and Vyktor is doing the opposite as it gets colder he's eating like a maniac - up to 16 ozs a day :shock:

We haven't visited your condo in a while and are glad to see thar Attie is "normal" Rusty has less of an appetite these days, too. But he is a grazer, so it is difficult to track. He doesn't lose weight, even though he is on a diet!

Attie, i didn't know you practiced yoga.

Have you run a calculation on what Attie's calorie range per day would be? I think as long as he's not losing weight, I wouldn't worry.

 

Hi guys .. yes, another blue start! I'm glad to hear atlas is being "normal" for a cat these days .. and I'm sure it's the heat that is affecting his appy .. our girls eat less in the summer and more in the winter .. have a great day guys!

There are a lot of kitties currently eating less it seems. Maybe time of year? (unless you see other concerns later)

I hear you on the eating. Tarragon and Turnup have both been eating less. I am blaming the heat. Nice blue start for Attie today! Glad to know he is normal for a cat, but what is up with him being less Attie-like? Hope you have a great day Beth!

 

Glad Atlas is feeling normal. Didn't anyone else want to know more about the cat yoga window :lol: :lol:

My kitties definitely eat less in the summer, too. I guess they know it's bathing suit season!!

 

I also hope it's just the summer weather. Love the pics...is Attie snoring??
