    Hello, LL and FDMB,

Today, it has been two weeks since Max's passing. We have felt his presence in the home, my husband heard the jingle of his collar and tag, and I've heard him noisily cleaning his paws and face after his "breakfast" one morning. I felt him on the bed at my feet where he would often sit or sleep, too.

Early this morning, he visited me in a dream. He was sitting on a night table next to a bed in an apartment we were preparing to clear out. I don't know where this apartment was, and I didn't recognize it, but I knew it had been ours, and we were planning to have an estate sale -- a very strange dream. Someone purchased all the spoons for a set before I had a chance to get the knives and forks out for sale. (I hate splitting up matching set of anything; one of my pet peeves.)

The exciting thing is that I knew Max had passed on and was visiting me, and I was able to pet him!!!! I walked over and touched him. He was so soft and warm -- exactly as he felt in life. I stroked him from his head down his back to his tail the way I always did. I think I may have awakened soon after.

This morning at about 8 a.m. Max's ashes were delivered, and his little paw print, too. I cried, of course, as I am now.

Awww - that's so sweet! It's nice to know he's happy on the other side and he knows he needs to show you he's ok. My little Holli & another cat, Sockets, visited me a few times after they passed. Sometimes they visited together. I remember being worried because we moved shortly after Holli passed and I didn't think she would know where we went, but she found me and came to sit on the porch. It's such a wonderful feeling! We develop such an amazing bond with these little creatures, don't we?

And no, Dale. It is NOT ok to divorce a set!!

Wow - that is simply amazing! how special to hear and feel Max around you, the tinkling bell and in bed. You're dream ... the set was being broken up, you were leaving an apartment, it was stressful to you ... but Max was on the table next to the bed, with you. So even though your life is changing and you are losing things and don't feel in control of things, he is there. What a wonderful thing. Thank you for sharing. ((((hugs)))))

Yes, this was truly amazing. Of all the dreamland visits I have had from my GA relatives, so few have been such that I could touch them. I was able to hug my grandmother once, but it was literally years after her passing.

Hi, everyone. I saw Max again last night! It was a dream in which he wasn't dead, but just with us wherever we went. We were in court, and he was there. :? Instead of pews there were old fashioned school desks in the gallery. Max was sitting on the desk part of one of those facing the court. He had apparently been there behind me for a while, but I didn't know that. No one seemed to mind, but I got worried that the judge would be upset that my cat was in court, and on a break I took him outside. (I don't even go to court, but my dreams rarely make sense, anyway.) I picked him up and carried him to the garden outside. He was perfectly happy to wait for me there.

My husband told me yesterday that he has seen Max in the house several times, but he didn't tell me because he didn't want to upset me. He saw Max sitting on my great-grandmother's rocking chair upstairs. It's had the same upholstery since it was made I'm sure, and that makes it over 70 years old probably or more. I always put plastic table covers in the seat so that Max wouldn't pee in it. He's never peed in a chair, but I didn't want that one to be the first! I guess he isn't bothered by the plastic now, and I might as well take it away.

Max will never leave till one fine day, you are ready to tell him so. Our little one will exsist in another form.
Take care Dale, I hope you'll find comfort in knowing that Max is well & free from that physical burdan he was bearing before.
Enjoy a happy Thanksgiving with your friends & family.

Happy to hear that Max is still there for you, he never knew any home but yours I guess, so he is so attached o the place, that usually the habit of all kittens. The good thing about it is to know that he's free, happy with no more pain.

I know how hard it is to let go .. And he knows how much you need him

Wishing you a happy days to come

Beautiful Dale. I love the fact that our babies are still with us, even after they depart their worldly lives.

This is also really special right now, as we've recently lost, and are about to say good-bye to, several of our beloved Acro-kitties. If it's okay with you, I'd like to share your post with their people. Please let me know if that will be okay.

Peace to you in your loss, and wishing you and your family continued visits.
