They eat when they want to. Not when we want them to eat! :banghead:

Get a +2? And feed accordingly?

She's bouncing. She never does well when she doesn't eat with her insulin. She finally ate.

Looks like she's bouncing. Get a test around +5 and then stop. Pokie break day!

Thanks Lyla. She likes me better today. :cat: Hope you and Butters are having a nice day. The bounces are so disappointing when you just started getting excited to see all green. Just another day in the FD journey. :)

I've seen Elise say that the greens are addictive:D:D. I have to agree!!

Absolutely :D:D there are times when I just open her spreadsheet and just stare at it. It makes me smile to watch the journey from pinks and yellows, to more yellow, to blues and then beautiful green :D:D. A “normal” person would never understand the love, work and commitment that goes into those greens. :):cat:

There's nothing abnormal about what we do, Adrienne. We're not crazy, we just love our cats and feel things more keenly perhaps than others do. I've had friends tell me that they would not be able to take on what I've done with Ruby, but really if it were their cat or dog or rabbit or child, they would of course do the same. Hugs to you. :bighug:

My words were not literal, normal meaning others that don’t have a diabetic animal to care for. Unfortunately there are many that won’t and don’t take on this commitment or any other illness, caring for their animals. It’s not something everyone would or could take on. It’s a lot of responsibility as you know. We don’t all love animals in the same way. Thanks for checking in. :D:D We don’t all love people in the same way. That’s fine too. That’s what makes up this wonderful diverse world. :):)

Hi Bhooma, hope you had a good sleep and you and Bandit are having a good day. I would like to know what you think, I know you've already told me.
Want to know if you think I should give her the mc at +1 or check her at +2 and feed accordingly? Your favorite choice :p

And of course she's not eating her dinner.:stop:

Hi Adrienne, Bandit is stressed because my civvie Budge has been unwell with severe diarrhea and we've been taking her to the vet/hospital every day. She is petrified that we are going to drag her to the vet as well! Budge is on the mend and I'm hoping to sleep till noon tomorrow. I'm sure Bandit will put paid to those plans by giving me a low green AMPS!

Looks like Dolly will give you an active cycle tonight what with her clearing that bounce from the AM. You can feed her MC at +1 and test at +2. You could actually feed her 1sp MC right away and again at +1. I hope you caught a nap in the day.

Did a 1.5 like you had suggested (days ago). Gave her some mc and she ate at the same time. Hope your kitty starts feeling better. No nap, we will be fine on our own. Take care of you and yours. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nice. No more MC. Hopefully one more test before bed and you should be okay. Fingers crossed! :)

When you tell me to give mc at +1, I am assuming you mean 1 hour after insulin?

You don't have to convince me :D:D. 78@+3.5? Too early? I did it because she went to bed, got on her perch in our bedroom, usually won't go anywhere without me. She is feeling super good tonight. She leaped over my head, I was sitting on the floor. She hasn't jumped in ages and never over my head . So happy to hear Budge is on the mend.

Glad to hear she's more herself tonight. I think she will be fine. You can call it a night! Cuddle her and go to sleep! :)
