Hold the dose. She had yellows earlier this month and then earned another reduction a few days later.
I am not saying this is not a failed reduction, but hold the dose and let's see.

We don't dose based on pre-shots :) Some cats go high before they go low.

How is her ear? And how is she feeling otherwise?

Her ear is still red although a little better. She ate this morning for a change. She still made it difficult to get her for testing. She is one moody cat but in a good mood this morning.

I agreeI would wait a little longer before calling this is failed reduction. You saw green yesterday. Do you think her ear could be infected?

Hope Dolly's ear feels better - maybe switch to coconut oil if you have some at home to rule out a reaction to the Neosporin (or even just skip the Neosporin)? FWIW I don't put Neosporin on Jax's ears every day...really he only gets it if I remember before I go to bed or if we have an extra active pokey day.

Hope dolly slides down for you :bighug:

Thanks Susanne. I hope so to. Dolly has been hiding from me or getting into places I can’t get her. She’s always been so good about testing, not now. She hates it when I do her other ear. What was a good experience for us both has now become a challenge. Hope you and Jax have a wonderful day :bighug: :bighug::bighug: I need to watch the changes to my words-auto change to from Jax to Jackie

Dolly has been on Azithromycin for her congestion. I know it’s an antibiotic but also works, did work for about a year, on clearing her congestion. I have a new RX and wonder if it would be okay to be proactive and give her the 3 day dose as an antibiotic? The dose for congestion is every 72 hours.

The vet also gave me another antibiotic to see if it would help but I never gave it to her. When you read up on it, it says it’s for skin infections. I guess this is like self medicating except she was prescribed it. What do you think? I can’t get her in today and her doctor won’t be in till Monday.

She got her shot late, 22 minutes, waiting to make sure there was no dosage change. I got  figuring out the time. Her ear looks so much better. Still very high but you never know with Dolly. Next check at +4?

You can shoot at your usual time at PMPS. I would take a break and get a later test - +6 maybe?

No way to know what she did between 193 and 118. Leave her be until shot time? Forgot, Bhooma will be sleeping now. I will leave her be until shot time. Maybe tonight she will have better numbers, I hope:):cat: Hope you are having a beautiful sleep Bhooma :bighug::bighug::bighug:

    I doubt she went lower.

She is going to make up for the relaxing afternoon tonight! :p How about at +1.5 or +2? How is she doing food wise? Ate something?

Just bought her a box of 12%. I promised myself I would make my own decisions
Hi Bhooma, I think it's safe for us to hit the sack (I've never said that in my life :D)
She ate between 1/3 and 1/2 can lc @+4.5. Your thoughts? One day, maybe, I won't have to ask you that. :nailbiting:

Hi Adrienne, I missed this post because you only updated the title and so it doesn't come to the top of the forum!
It is very safe to sleep. You did great! :bighug:

    We hold this dose :)

Think of all the things we are doing for our cats that we never thought we'd do! :p

And from tomorrow, just update the thread with the BG numbers. It can just be "54 @ +3" etc. It bumps it to the top :)
