01/28 Haley -AMPS 96, +4 60, +5 69, | Feline Diabetes Message Board - FDMB

Her first test was 29. I tested her again and it was 96. I tried a third time, to be sure, and she didn't bleed enough to register. I poked her a fourth time and she was 93. I averaged it. She started to get agitated and I don't blame her...unusual for her. She ran away from breakfast for a couple minutes. She came to her dish and I got a fur shot. I rushed it before she ran away. She's upset with everyone. Just the other kitties being near her makes her grown at them. She's not in a good mood. Not a good morning!

When should I test her again since she had two NS in a row?

I went to test her and she ran away. A few minutes later, I looked in, what I thought, was one of her hiding spots and she wasn't there. Other than that, I don't know where she hides. I'll test her as soon as I can.

Tested her at +4.5 and then she had a snack.

Thanks, Carla. She hides, mostly, because her two bothers harass her. The third one did but he’s slowing down at 15. But, our horrible morning, today, sure didn’t help matters. I hope so, too. Here’s hoping for a Green Day tomorrow. Any idea how long it might take to come off insulin? I know every kitty is different.
