Nice PS these days, Adrienne! :)
Do you find that you have to feed a little MC to prevent the dives at +2? I see you fed some at +2.25 last night? What about the AM?
I try to avoid it if she's eating her lc, maybe I am wrong???:( She's bouncing again. I have to leave for bloodwork in 45 min, hopefully only out for 1 1/2 hours. Do I have to worry she could drop low at +3 or +4? She bounced all day on Tuesday, cleared in the evening. My husband will be here but does not test.

If she's eating it's fine. If she doesn't eat till you leave, give her a little MC to keep her safe since you will be out till +4.5 or so?

I hope Dolly comes back to the lagoon soon. She had really nice numbers yesterday, Adrienne:D. Today's are pretty good, too! Low blues:cool:
Thanks Lyla, she’s bouncing today and Tuesday. Yesterday was great. Butters is getting ready for remission. I know it will be a little more time but her numbers are perfect. :D Remission is such a joy. You two have a great afternoon/evening :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Has anyone else had to repeatedly log in? Never had this problem. I press the keep me logged in button. :arghh:

I have had that happen on some pages.

Is Dolly's arthritis confirmed? I have started Budge on Cartrophen injections for her arthritis - joint supplements didn't really help. A lot of folks in the US have used Adequan with success. If you search the Board for arthritis or Adequan, you will get a lot of posts with info.

It’s annoying but I am beyond exhaustion tonight:p so everything is annoying. The vet talked to me about the Adequan. I would want to do that at home but in the muscle? Maybe not. Dolly spine is curved and she needs to move around a lot to get comfortable, sometimes. She has been favoring her rear right leg. The doctors never see it, she won’t walk for them. I have a few videos but I’m never ready with my camera at the right time. Anyway she will be having X-rays. Budge has arthritis, how old is she? Is it bad?

Is that med an anti inflammatory? Her doctor told me it’s hard to treat cats with arthritis, anti inflammatory drugs knock them out. Adequan has some success in some cats. :( I hate that she could be in a lot of pain.

I have the same problem with Budge. She will never "perform" for a camera and when we took her to the vet she just hid under a chair and refused to move. She is almost 13 and has been having issues for 2-3 years now. Maybe more. She is a little "healthy". I have tried glucosamine supplements but they didn't work beyond a point.

Adequan is given subcutaneously. Just like you do insulin. So if your vet gives you a prescription and the dosage, you can give it yourself at home.

I am giving Budge Cartrophen (the Adequan equivalent that is availble outside US i.e Canada and ROW) shots at home. She is such a hellion that we have to put her in her carrier and pretend we are taking her to the vet, take her out if the apartment and give her a shot outside. At home she just won't let us give it. Outside she is freaked out enough to stay still. Boy are we glad it is Bandit who has diabetes! There is no way I can test or shoot Budge every day. Forget several times a day!

Thanks for making me seriously laugh out loud. I can picture the whole adventure, that is so funny. Poor kitty. The silly things I do to play with Dolly. I take her toys like you would a toddler and try to get her to chase me around the house dragging whatever creation I make with strings etc. the only real playing she does is with her foil toys by herself. Mostly I play with the toys and she observes. What do you think for tonight, one more test that hopefully is higher @+4.5?

It's no laughing matter. With Budge we risk life and limb! I need to get an armour made - and I am only half joking! ;)

Yeah, these two brats lose interest in games pretty soon and they prefer to just snooze. We are all old hags here! LOL.

When did Dolly last eat and what? Just the MC at +2.5?

Sorry for the double. Yes, just a little bit at +2.5, had some regular lc since and fresh bowl in my bedroom that she never eats. She at 66 now.

Do you think she could drop down in the 50's again? Her nadir is higher than that. It's been that way many nights.
I know you have other stuff and kitties. So nice to see you. Thank you for making me laugh. I can’t make fun of Budge anymore now that I know she could be a great grandma like me and is in pain. Have a lovely day Bhooma, Bandit and sweet Budge :p :bighug::bighug::bighug: Goodnight

Sorry, I figured you'd gone to bed and went to grab lunch. I think she should be okay now that she's past +4.5
Good night! :)

sweet Budge??!!!
