02/26 Bubba AMPS 328; +5 286; +9 270; PMPS 310; +4 284

Had about 3 pp accidents - on floor or pp pad; tried to poop out “raisin cluster” of little poops, then a while later a larger regular poop on pp pad, then soft pile in box; gave him bum bath & blow dry; peed again while lying down and I was petting him. He hasn’t been drinking as much water and the volume of urine isn’t as much as his UTI from a few weeks ago.
perhaps another UTI

everything was fine this morning. So much for going out and enjoying my day off in the sunny snow :banghead::blackeye:

no blues so far today... holding steady at least...

had around 2-3 more pp accidents since last post (approx 3hrs ago)... on pp pads in front of box
am wondering if gaba is causing urinary incontinence or urgency? he was initially on gaba from Feb 3-17 (approx 50mg BID); he was off it from Feb 17 to 23 (ran out of tablets); re-started same dose again Feb 23 and today it was pp accidents galore. having said that, he has had pp accidents prior to gaba - of which we attributed to high blood sugars/urinary spillage, arthritis, or UTI (of which he had Dx on Feb 3).

handling everything else is a breeze, it's when Bubba pp's everywhere it's just too much with constantly cleaning
 
Do you have a low entry litter box? Just trying to figure out why he doesn't actually step IN the box. At one point Neko's arthritis was so bad she couldn't hunch down much. She was in the box, but the stream went out. :rolleyes: Hence pp pads surrounding. Ideally we'd also like to get him into numbers where he's only peeing 2-3 times a day.

yes we do, we cut the sides down and he walks in/out totally fine; I should mention he's also peed IN the box today... but makes field trips elsewhere to go lol, or he will stop in front of his box and pee on the pp pad just outside of it

administered PM insulin 20min late... was so distracted with cleaning up all the pps, sitting down to finally relax and watch last of us I TOTALLY FORGOT :banghead:
Bubba randomly wanted to sit on the couch beside me tonight lol
