Yesterday, Butters began an attempt at a reduction in the PM cycle, to .5u.
This morning, I accidentally didn't inject all of the insulin into her
. I have a very regimented routine:
. Poor Butters didn't get all of her insulin, and I sustained a temporary eye injury (FYI it felt like burning).
She had a beautiful PM+11 yesterday, too. Bummer. Hopefully she will get back on track soon.
Have a great day, all!

. I have a very regimented routine:- measure dose with calipers
- recheck dose at least fifteen times to ensure accuracy
- shoot
- hold plunger down for several seconds (one Mississippi etc.)
- put nose into butters and sniff for insulin
- hold syringe up to eye and push plunger to make sure there isn't anything leftover
