Unfortunately it was not an overreaction from our side, his BG doesn't go under 99 :(

Have been yesterday at the vet, we did an ultrasound: intestines look ok, some stone around the bladder and kidneys but nothing that would cause BG spike and she didn't like how the liver looked. We still don't have the blood test results, hopefully we will get it within today.
Some scale on his molar teeth and little inflammation on the incisor but she doesn't want to do any dental hygiene until she sees the blood results to see what is happening with the liver.

I noticed some change in his BG since the beginning of may, he never had any values under 70. Back then i though it was weird, but couldn't see any higher values so thought that maybe it was just a fluke. Now i think he started having some abnormal fluctuations which now are becoming the blue values.

It is what it is, hopefully his liver will be fine and after we will do the teeth cleaning everything will be fine but i guess time will show...

Later today will update the blood results.

Has Chico been eating well? Showing any signs of discomfort? :bighug:
Thank God he is eating well, jumps off like if we kept him hungry for days every time the autofeeder turns on. There are some very subtle changes in his behavior though, but so subtle that i find it even difficult to describe. Like for example he started again going go the tap for water, he never drinks any but reminds us of the time when he was first diagnosed, he sleeps with me less which might as well be because it is warmer, hard to tell if it means anything.

I just remembered that he vomited some time in the beginning of May, it was undigested meat and hairball and then he had a drop of blood in his stool on the 16th of May (Denis was on a business trip, i know the date because i wrote it to him). Nothing since then but after the weird stool i started talking abt taking him to the vet but with all the other things happening we only had time yesterday :(

Just to clarify, he vomits rarely (once in 2-3 months), when he does its hairball and i just start him on yolk and it goes away.

I hope the blood tests are normal. :bighug:
thank you :bighug:, we hope so too

They tend to shed more when it gets hot so throwing up a hairball every few months probably means nothing. One of my girls does that too. She’s a real groomer. Those are very subtle things and may mean nothing. Let us know the test results. :bighug:
