[Butters & Lyla]

Recently

Overnight, butters and I stayed up to watch the Oscars. Then we went to bed and she made herself a little nest out of my hair and slept in that, occasionally waking up to chow down on raw chicken snacks and fix her hair nest with her bacteria-filled mouth. It was good times. I wonder why I spend half my life hosing myself down with hot water and doing laundry.

Today, IDK. Butters is in fine form. She trotted around this morning and demanded to go outside for fresh air. She definitely seems more like her old self again <anti-jinx>.

Oh too funny, this reminds me - a woman in a FB group I'm in posted her son's 6th grade science fair project. The subject? "Does your cat's butthole really touch every surface in your house?" Hahaha

The result, after an experiment involving some non-toxic lipstick and some well-trained cats? Long haired cats, never. Short-haired cats, you're playing roulette.
