I would think about an increase to 2.5U. He is still above the normal range and you want to see if you can bring his numbers down a bit.
I will do the increase but not yet. Everyone at work is sick right now and I've come down with it. I think it's just a cold or a sinus infection but I feel like garbage and I really need a few uneventful nights where I can get some good sleep.I agree with Bhooma.
I will definitely check with the vet if she continues to vomit, but at this point I really think its just "scarf and barf". It has only happened twice since the switch to wet food and both times it was in the morning right after she ate an entire can of FF. I've noticed when I give her a full can for her preshot meals she will stop eating about 3/4 of the way and just lay there for a few minutes and then continue eating the rest of it. So I think she's filling up and doesn't really need a full can all at once but she's always been the type of cat to stuff herself and eat everything that's given to her as fast as possible.I wonder if there's something about the food that isn't agreeing with Kitty? What I think Elise is describing in her Max cat is coughing up a furball, not the same as actually barfing up food like your Kitty seems to be doing. I like the sound of your 2nd plan, feeding mini meals as opposed to a whole can at one time. You may want to ask your vet though if this vomiting is a regular thing, there could be some other underlying reason.![]()
