Not the greatest numbers these last few days. We're slowly transitioning him back to Tiki Cat. Is it true a change of food can spike their BG? We started making the slow transition a couple days ago.

If the change is the same or lower carbs I don’t think it should spike the numbers. See where’s he’s at when completely transitioned. When will that be? It might be that a brief increase is needed but I’d be inclined to see if the food switch does the trick.

The tiki cat has less carbs than the food he was on before (Rawz). He should be fully transitioned by next Tuesday or Wednesday I’d say. I usually take a week to do it or else he’ll have an upset belly.

As long as the bulk of the time he’s green I would see what happens by Tuesday. If you don’t see green nadirs you might need to increase sooner.
