Good morning:):cat:
Surf safely Kitty Cats :cat::cat::cat:

Sending healing prayers to all the kitties and their caretakers that are not feeling their best :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I put Dolly’s old perch back in our bedroom. She actually slept on it for awhile then headed back to her bed on the couch.

Vet tomorrow, have to make some hard decisions about ultrasound/scope of her sinus track, possible biopsy and X-rays of her joints.

Really nice start for Dolly today, Adrienne! Hope the vet visit goes well, and that you are feeling better. Hugs! :bighug:

PS: The cats hate it when I move furniture. Takes them a little while to accept new things.

Hi Katherine, I wish I could count how many times I've switched perches, we bought the new one in December  She will not go near it. Dolly has become more and more reluctant to jump on things. She sits and gauges things from all angles before she will make a move, it breaks my heart. She walks so slow, her spine has always been curved but now she seems to favor her right hip. She has stopped playing except when she drops low, 50’s. Now I know if she playing, time to check her. She gets kind of silly/goofy as she bats things around, chases and attacks her prey (usually foil toys :D).
No zoomies in ages. How I miss zoomies :(

Aww, poor little Dolly. Hope the vet can help her with her mobility issues. Ruby still jumps on tables but she kind of lumbers along when she walks and her joints crack when she gets up from lying down so she’s got some arthritis going on as well. These kitties give us so much to worry about!

Yes they do. I was just telling my husband that I could probably poor a whole bag of treats on the kitchen counter and she would not jump up there. :nailbiting: She uses the dining room chair to get up on the table for testing. It’s so sad. She used to jump on the top of the refrigerator from the counter until I blocked it, scared me to death. Do you give Ruby any joint supplements? Her numbers are just beautiful :joyful::joyful:

Hi Adrienne, my heart just breaks for Dolly about her mobility issues.
I just want to cuddle her. Sending you strength tomorrow for Dolly's vet visit ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thank you Diane. I really struggle with fear for her being anesthetized. It’s been a long time and it was for dental cleaning and extractions. She came home falling over, walking into walls, I just will never forget that and crying in pain. Thank goodness that since I started adding a dental additive to her water she’s had perfect checkups for over 4 years, mainly her gums, not too many teeth left. :p Hope you and Tyler are having a wonderful day. Thanks so much for your kind messages. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Pamela, I reached out to Holistapet on Mother’s Day. I finally received a ticket number but I was on my way to bed, then I forgot to get back to them. I don’t want you to think I’m not interested but I decided to see what her doctor says tomorrow. I’m really concerned about her hip. Hope you Amethyst and JoJo are having a good day. I sincerely appreciate your help. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope Dolly gets a good report from the vet tomorrow! I hope you're doing well Adrienne! Sorry I haven't been around much lately....

Too much on my plate...

:)
Hi Sue, Luci's have such a great day, two days, good job Luci :woot::woot:. Hope DH is feeling better, less pain, pain is so exhausting. Wish you didn't have to work so hard, hope you balance it out with rest (where's the time ). I guess you are staying in Florida? My memory is so bad. Carry on sweet Luci with those beautiful blues and greens but stay safe, no drama for your tired mom. Have a good evening Sue and hopefully not a crazy busy day tomorrow.:bighug::bighug:

Do you give Ruby any joint supplements?
I give her hyaluronic acid drops to lubricate and also krill oil for omega 3s to deal with the inflammation in addition to whatever she's getting in her food. Today I saw her do a running jump right over Olive, so maybe it's helping. I still hear her joints clicking when she gets up from lying down, but she is so much thinner now than she used to be so I hope that helps.
