The vet appointment went okay. I had a moment of clarity before I even saw the doctor that I needed to go back to the “cats only” vet Dolly has been going to for 8 years. I switched because I could go in with her at this vet, I couldn’t deal with the curbside, wait in your car and have the doctor call you visit. I needed to be there with her. I physically wasn’t ready for today, it was a dumb and stupid idea. :blackeye: Carrying her was part of it, getting her out of the carrier :arghh: I did get cosequin pre-filled injections. I feel good about that. I will wait a few weeks or more and make her an appointment with “The Cat Doctor”. Go forward with the CT Scan they advised of her nasal passages. We’ve been going there almost 20 years but when the owner and our doctor passed away it was just not the same. Life just isn’t always how you want it so you have to make the best choices with what you have. Thanks to anyone who reads this, I can go on :D:D:D

I'm glad for a good visit. I hope you are resting now. That must've been a lot for you given you are still recovering from a major injury. :bighug:
Thank you Lyla, it was really hard on my leg and probably didn’t help things. I think I did this because I felt like I was avoiding it out of fear for Dolly being afraid and fear of her being put under for the ultrasound. I will go to her old vet when I am stronger. At least I have meds that might help her walking and her hip issues, he said she was very stiff in that area she seems to favor. Butters looks beautiful, her numbers really great. Hope you are both doing well. Grateful hugs :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Looks like both our girls had a trip to the vet today. It sounds like getting to and from there was an ordeal for you. Thankfully I had Frank carry Ruby to the vet today because I am not allowed to lift anything more than 10 lbs for another week or so and Ruby's a big girl. I'm glad you got meds for Dolly's arthritis, I really hope it helps her play again. Big hugs, Adrienne. :bighug::bighug:

Thanks Katherine. Was thinking of you and Ruby. Rob also uses a cane and has neuropathy in his legs, no feeling in his feet. We are quite the pair. I hope Ruby is okay, not sick or anything serious. I see she had those lovely blue vet numbers as well, Dolly’s are still hanging on. Maybe I can get to bed sooner than later tonight. Hope you are feeling better. Sending healing prayers and big hugs :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Just read through yesterday’s condo and see that Ruby’s been having nausea and eating issues. I hope you got some answers today. It looks like so many of our cats here are 11 or 12. Dolly will turn 12 this month. Will check on you two tomorrow. More healing prayers :bighug::bighug::bighug:
