If he stays largely in greens today, you can attempt a reduction tomorrow. One of the ways a cat can earn reductions is by staying in largely normal numbers for a week.

This is the longest he has been on a dose. I wonder if he dropped below 50 on the night of 5/19 after that 54 and the blues on the next day were him bouncing from that. (I know you said that your partner fed him MC because you weren't at home that night)

It's very possible, unfortunately no way of knowing for sure.
But I will attempt a reduction tomorrow AM and we'll see what happens.

Also do you think our insulin is loosing its strength? We've been using the same vial since Feb 25.
I'm starting to think it's time for a new one maybe since he's been around the same numbers for the last little bit. Thoughts?

His numbers don't look like the insulin is bad. And the vial is not quite 3 months old. He has just slowed his descent down the dosing ladder is all.
