Started the new dose this morning of 1.5U, we will see how it goes! Cooper is still constipated, so I gave him more pumpkin. Poor little babe. If he hasn't gone in a couple of hours, I may give a bit more.

Welcome to LLB. Good luck with the increase. Miralax can also be given for constipation in addition to pumpkin.

Thank you! I almost got some, but for some reason I was more hesitant to try that. I guess I'm scared I will get the opposite end of the spectrum and have a mess lol!

How much Miralax would you suggest?

I would start with 1/8 tsp 2xs per day then go to 1/4 tsp 2xs a day. MiraLax helped my boy at first but he was still having trouble pooping. Someone on here recommended trying slippery elm with bark. He gets a little under 1/4 of tsp every other day (my non sugar kitty gets a little of the 1/4 tsp) I mix it with beechnut beef baby food & add 1 table spoon of water & mix it again & they both eat it up. It has been a God send for Panzer, he is no longer constipated. If you look in my remarks section on my spreadsheet, you will see how I often I dose the MiraLax & slippery elm. I hope this helps,, good luck , I know how hard it is to see your baby constipated.
