Good Morning

Sending healing prayers to all the kitty cats and their caretakers that are not feeling their best

Dolly over being poked (again). Would not let me near her last night. I think the issue is more the pain meds. Dolly hates anything put in her mouth so always a battle and ends up where I feel like I assaulted her. I hold her close to me after for about 5 minutes so she can calm down. I've been trying to patiently wait for her to jump on the table for testing rather than pick her up. Last night I went to bed at one am but never got a test past +2 (9pm). No trust, no test, no pain meds.
She actually acted afraid of me, happens on occasion. Unfortunately we've been here before, this is the nature of my sweet Dolly.
I am not looking for advice, I've had 8 years to try everything to make Dolly feel safe. I believe most of the time she does. I'm not sure what the catalyst is, it could be the affects of the pain meds or the pain or I looked at her funny.
I am just venting, scary to go to bed with just a +2 but thankfully she ate another bowl of food later on. I did not get my very much needed rest, too upset.
Wishing everyone a happy Sunday
