? 07/27 Tommy AMPS 225, PMPS 311; Day 7 at 1u dose. Keep?

Can you do a curve any time soon? We dose based upon how low a dose takes him and without tests between +5-7 it’s impossible. He could be hitting bg under 200 and coming back up.
Will do +6 or +8 tomorrow if be able to get off work. Is one measurement, e.g +6 sufficient or both are needed?

not on weekends. Are both +6 and +8 needed to capture nadir or +5 and +8 or+7 would provide better picture?
No. I’d do a +6 and if coming down a +8. If around the same she’s likely not going much lower. I’d just vary the times you get an extra test. One day try +5. Another +6 or 7. Gradually the picture will fill in like a puzzle.

You definitely need to get some more tests in , you have none for the night cycle at all. If you work during the day get some in after work or get them on the weekends
At night get a +2, +4, +6.
Then mix the times up
Like +3, +5, +7

Will try to get more test. One concern as of late, compared values from two devices, one RelionPremierClassic (newer model) versus RelionMicro (older model). The difference in measured BG is rather large, 246 (new) versus 189 (older model) on 7/26 and 200 versus 138 this morning. Tested both on myself, the difference was 97 versus 87 accordingly. Wonder if it worth trip to vets office to compare against their measurement?

Are test strips still available for the micro? It seems to have read lower than newer models and required less blood. If strips available I’d use it. I’d pick one meter and use that one comparing has been dine by many and will just drive you nuts. You don’t need to go to the vet. You will just add stress to the reading.

yes, strips are still available for RelionMicro but it seems needing more blood then newer RelionPremierClassic even so per spec it should be other way around. I came across one comparison that claims NovaMaxPlus is fairly accurate. Any feedback on it? Thank you
