Yesterday overnight butters peed and she pooped for good measure, though was more like diarrhea.
No issues with the peeing and no signs of blood. I would call her GP clinic if there was.
She otherwise spent the entire night trying to bust into her autofeeder to get at the Fancy Feast
. She had never done that before. She started pushing her face underneath the autofeeder to try to overturn it, and kept smacking her paw on the lid. I was worried she would push it off the bed so I moved it to the floor. She jumped off the bed, stuck her paw in the open compartment and began dragging it around, rattling it and banging it into the wall. She is currently laying next to her empty plate staring daggers at me.
To update on a couple of things from yesterday:
The ER vet who was on last night told me she saw the tech hand Butters over to the IM vet early that morning, but she also said she saw the images and his report pop up in her file right when he was done so she seemed to think there was 100% no possible way that a mix up could have occurred. There is still always a chance, I suppose, but it just seems slim at this point. And it was well worth looking into so thank you for the thoughts on that!
Her usual GP vet isn't in clinic until Wednesday, so not much I can do about figuring out a plan and next steps until then. The vet who saw Butters in his absence told me she would follow up with me on Monday, so if she in fact does call then I'll ask for her thoughts on what has gone on. She happens to have a consult booked for her cat with the same IM vet who did the second ultrasound! I feel that means there is a connection there and she will want this resolved, but who knows. So for now I'll wait and see if she calls.
Surf safely, kitties
Have a good day, all.

I am sure though he is very proud of Butters for her attempts as Lyla used to have to wake her up to eat her snacks
