George is doing better! I finally got all of his labs except for the Acro and IAA labs that are still outstanding from MSU. George’s labs and his sisters Sabrina & Laura’s labs are in this link. They’re all labeled with their names.

Cat Labs on Google Drive

I’ll add this link to my signature too.

Sabrina doesn’t have any recent labs. We are taking her in hopefully tomorrow to get a kidney panel done.

Rachel, I would remove your personal information from the labs as this is a public forum and anybody can look at it.

The one thing I would watch when you test again is the phosphorus. It is elevated. It would be good to get it closer to 5. Have you thought about adding a phosphorus binder like aluminum hydroxide powder? It’s something to ask your vet about. The rest of the kidney markers look good, just slightly elevated.

Oh geez! I didn’t even think about that. Thanks for looking out for me! Hopefully that is fixed now!

Yes. We changed foods and also added aluminum hydroxide binder about a week ago so going to retest all 3 of our cats in the next few weeks. We don’t know Sabrina’s current phosphorus so getting her tested hopefully today. George was 6.5 and Laura was 5.1. All 3 eating the same food now Weruva Truluxe Glam n Pink and Weruva Classic Pawlickin Chicken. We are evaluating different foods still. May move to homemade food with EZ Complete. Not sure yet.

George has been vomiting and having diarrhea so trying to keep his diet stable for a bit. However, also concerned that the Glam n Punk is not agreeing with his system. He’s still having diarrhea as recent as this morning.

Question: could lower blood sugar trigger diarrhea? I ask because it seems like when his BG#s go up, his diarrhea gets better. I know theirs the low dose big poop (or I think I read that somewhere???). Just wondering if this could be a thing.

I don’t think low bg would cause diarrhea but as you know every cat is different. I suspect it’s the food. The binder can be constipating so it might help with that.
