I just glanced at your ss. What a change :( Has your vet checked to see if that dental needs to be done as you wrote on the comments?

Yes, she had her dental completed on July 25. She had significant gum disease, they trimmed a bit of decayed gum tissue, but no extractions and no cavities, overall her teeth were fine (although the vet said he was surprised no extractions were needed, he assumed he'd have to do at least a couple). She was examined again 2 weeks later & the vet was very impressed with her healing and said everything looks great. Now we just have to stay on top of keeping the teeth clean.

The whole mess with our former vet really hurt us while we were left unable to get her in to be seen for several months while her numbers climbed. I'm glad we are no longer with that provider, but we definitely have some work ahead of us to get things back on track. It seems like Elsie really wants to get back into some good numbers, but I think she's become accustomed to the higher numbers now. Although, I'm hopeful...even though her numbers still aren't great, we've had more dips into blue territory since the dental than we did before at the same dose.
