Good morning, everyone!

Chispa is starting the day with a big ol' drop at +2. I'll be able to get a +4.5 before I leave, then it's up to DBF for the rest of the week. He did manage to get a successful test this morning, so there is hope!

Lowest number ever at +4.5 and I am headed out of town for a week. Hoping that DBF will manage to get preshots at least. I know I am supposed to be happy about these lowering BG numbers, but I’m terrified she’ll do some crazy cat stunt like dropping into the greens while he is at work, unbeknownst to any of us.

Can anyone talk me down from the ledge of anxiety? This is going to be OK, right??

It's not much of a drop from your +2, and given Chispa's relatively slow meander down to where she is now, I'd say your kitty is safe while you're out of town! However, am relatively new here, but I just want you to travel and not be too stressed!

Thanks, Cali. I just took another look at your SS and saw that sweet Faraday went from red to pink to yellow to blue to GREENZ w/in the first 3 days! Wonder kitty!!! It certainly doesn’t seem like Chispa is inclined to do anything so dramatic … but we all know they love to surprise us, too.

I love how she's getting more yellow preshots now. Personally, I am hoping that Chispa dips her toes in blue waters while you are gone. This dose does look promising for that. Remember that food is the tool used to keep her safe. When you get back, we'll chat about feeding to help slow those fast drops - which can in turn cause bounces.

In the mean time, enjoy your trip.
