Sending healing prayers to all the kitty cats and their caretakers that are not feeling their best
:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Dolly is bouncing this morning. I checked her at 1.5 only because she jumped on the table and wanted to be tested - weird for our Dolly who hates being tested :stop:. When she runs real low she is more compliant so I thought I'd better check. :oops::oops: I think it is time to go back to her 1.25 units she usually does so well on, she never earned that increase to 1.5 on 8/27. This cat mom has been running on empty far too long.:arghh: Other than the bouncing her nadir has been great overall. I think I curtailed a lot of limes :D with high carbs that would have earned her a reduction. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi it
I also cannot contribute to the dosing discussion, but can reiterate that Dolly is one lovely looking cat.
I think you may have visited us once before, my brain is a bit foggy from lack of sleep. Your name Acadaca, correct? I love it. :joyful: Your handsome boy “Field Commander Cohen” I am guessing he is of the Jewish persuasion, most Cohen’s, if not all, are. I am probably saying inappropriate things but both your names are so interesting. Actually, all I really wanted to say is I love to meet new friends and thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day Acadaca and Field Commander Cohen and congratulations on :otj:. So wonderful that you caught it early and he went into remission so quickly. Great job, both of you. :):cat::bighug:

I have stopped by, but never expect anyone to remember anything - especially on here. There are so many other things we need to focus on and our cats can definitely set our minds spinning. Acadaca is my nickname and my friend's generally refer to me as that or some iteration thereof (who knew nicknames could have nicknames?)

Field Commander Cohen is named after an album/tour (and song, but it's not one that's high on my list) by Leonard Cohen who is definitely Jewish, but I am not. I hope that's not cat cultural appropriation.

We are both extremely fortunate in regards to his OTJ path and I try to not take it for granted. I hope Dolly can achieve the same. I appreciate the welcome and hope that you have a wonderful day (or evening).

Thanks for the information. We are in California, so late morning. Dolly was in remission for 7 months, diagnosed in October 2019, remission in January 2020. Out of remission September 2020. Glad to hear you are not taking FCC’s remission for granted. It’s a full time job and I desperately miss remission. It may or may not happen again but I love her to death however/whoever she is. Have the very best day Acadaca & FCC.

I'd be careful about increasing when you're seeing nadirs in the 50s. You don't want Dolly to go too low. Nice slide today. Love the picture. She's so adorable.
Hi Carla, thanks for pointing out that I am far to tired. Please see my changes, thanks again for pointing out my mistake, thank goodness it's only on paper/screen and not CAT/Dolly.:oops::rolleyes: :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I think you could go either way with staying at 1.5 units or decreasing to 1.25 units. Dolly has had 3 times under 50 on this dose so you could take the reduction and it would probably allow you to get some sleep. That may be the best thing. You need to take care of yourself in order to take care of Dolly. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

@tiffmaxee @Bandit's Mom
I was trying to prevent another lime by giving Dolly some 12% after her +2 and she vomited everything up. She also had pain meds after her test. How long should I wait before I try and give her more food? She rarely ever vomits, maybe she ate too fast. Was hoping to get some sleep. I'm going on weeks of not enough sleep.
