09/23 Milo AMPS 88

Thanks everyone. He seems to rally then goes back into a slump and refuse food. I raced home again on my 2nd break to check on him @ +7.5. He wasn't too low but I saw he hadn't eaten. No dinner again so I syringe fed him LC/water @ +2 (pm). It may have bump-started him as he got up an hour later and he went to his bowl and ate another 1 tsp approx. He's just jumped up on my lap so no hiding which is good news. He did throw up some foamy stuff when he refused dinner. I'm glad he has a vet appointment on Friday. He's not as bad as most episodes but the no eating has me worried as it's lasting a bit longer than his usual. Poor little dude... I'm guessing I'll likely have to get up again in the night, although he did eat.... I guess we'll see in an hour how his BG looks.
Good night all. Thanks for the prayers. I hope all your kitties are well.

:banghead:Checked just before bed and he was 38! I NEVER expected this as he was on my lap the whole time or wandering around and getting himself some food on his own, finally. I was just commenting to my son that he was finally turning a corner on this newest episode requiring antibiotics. He was brighter, more alert and attentive and hungrier than he has been in DAYS. AND he was hypo. In. My. Lap. It’s going to be a long night. He ate HC (only 1T) and then I gave him a little honey as I have to get some sleep and he was only at 52 @+5.5 with not a lot of food in him. I have my alarm set for 1 hour. Power snooze time.

Hey! I know you are power napping, but can you update your thread title so others know what’s going on? :bighug:
