09/24 Dallas OTJ Trial day 12 AMBG no test, 77 PMBG

    I was unable to test Dallas this morning.
    We got hit by Hurricane Fiona and lost power and without his heated rice sock I was unable to test him. I just couldn’t get any blood. I will test him once we get our power back.

    Stay safe out there. :bighug::bighug::bighug: If you have hot water (my heater is gas, not electric), you can fill an empty pill bottle and use it instead of a rice sock.

    Oh I didn’t even think of that! We have a Jet Boil so I’ll heat up some water in that. If I get a test tonight can we count this as day 12 even though we did not get two tests?

    And thank you everyone! We’re all safe here and thankfully no damage to our home. Still no power, but that’s the least of our concerns.

    Yes, happy day 12. Almost there! :D Good thing you don't have to worry so much about keeping insulin cold.
