1/12Ares AMPS 149 +3.5 143 +5 106 +6.5 115 PMPS 113 +2 41, +2.25 52, +4 77, +5 56, +5.5 66, +6 83

He is looking good!

If it was me I'd give him tonight and see what he does that will be a full 6 cycles on this dose.

Bhooma is more likely sleeping as it's about 130 am but she will be back on in a few hours. I want someone with more experience to weigh in on this...not just me ;)

I agree with Bhooma. We always suggest increasing in .25 units, but if you have calipers, you could consider reducing by .125 if 2.5 proves to be too much for him again. Ruby bounced for months between .25 and .5 units. It was frustrating but now I have a lot more patience. ;)

So he read a 113 for PMPS. Maybe because hes been up and running around for couple hrs now. During day he just sleeps...during night he is active. Im keeping him on 2.25 for tonight. Thanks all for weighing in! Depending on how 2nite goes, will see if increase is needed ( probably will be)

It does look like he needs a dose between 2.25 and 2.5 but it's hard to measure without callipers. Today was 6 cycles after the last green. With that PMPS it's good you held the dose. Maybe he will respond to the increase threat tonight! :-)

Sorry wasn't here - I'd give him one more tsp HC. Flat after the 2 tsp and honey is good, but that's a lot of carbs to keep him up.

Check 20 mins from last test...no point testing sooner since it takes awhile for carbs to kick in. 15 mins is only with honey/karo, the "quick boost" sugars

LC is fine. What is +2.8? How many minutes till +3? Think you can wait an hour to test.

i try to calculate it, so it was shot at 8pm, the +2.8 was at 1050pm...i dont know how else to write it...i just approximate (10 min til +3 was my +2.8 test)
So Ares was sleeping when i woke him up to test. he also did a tiny bit of running outside about 1.5 hrs b4 test, he hadnt ate for almost 1 hr n 45 min b4 test also.
Not sure how that all factors in if he needs decrease...but just letting everyone know

Take the reduction. Normally, in bounce clearing cycles, there is additional downward momentum and you want to test and feed to prevent a reduction. If he doesn't hold the reduction, you can always go back up.

Think it might be okay to wait till +4 to test.

yesterday and a lil bit of today i had to feed him 6%, so i think that could have kept him in all those blues too. Ran out of his normal 2-3%. also, since i was sick yesterday, he just stayed in bed with me all day long and didnt get any exercise
when im up, he has been getting up and moving (ever since he has been feeling better)

83 @ +6. think im safe to call it a night?? fed tiny dash of 13% mix with 2%, has LC in auto for 330am (+7.5) and 530am (+9.5)

I find it a little amusing (only after the fact) that our cats respond so well to dose increase threats that they end up with a reduction - they’re just like NO, I’ll prove you wrong! Don’t know about you but I actually look at Gus and tell him ‘Bhooma said…’ or ‘Elise said…’ seems to work.. cuz he would just laugh at me if it came from me!

Glad you’re feeling better and that Ares was able to stay safe - well done! Congrats on the increase!

Scratch that I just realized this was yesterday's number in post title. Looking at his numbers today though it could be a bounce from yesterday's lows
