Frustrating pink and high yellow numbers for the past week, so I finally decided today to start a new Lantus cartridge. We went from 11/19/09 through this morning on the first one. Shall see what this evening brings.

welcome back! We've missed u and Stash updates!

Any chance for evening spot checks? This will help knowing what Stash is up to on each dose, I know, I know - you know this already, just checking ok? :)

I've not had my Lantus last 2 mos. so maybe some of the issue is the insulin. Do you think that maybe Stash is getting some lower numbers mid-cycle and you're only catching the bounce back up? Maybe a few more mid-cycle and before bed spot checks would help to sort out what's going on. There's also the possibility that the dose isn't holding.

I know the Lantus was still viable as of January 12 as we had a 200 point drop.

He was going too low on the .5u as late as January 5 so we moved to the skinny .5u. One thought I have is inconsistancies with the "skinny"... What if there's a bubble I don't see... what if DH's skinny is different from DD's skinny...

Now that we are on the new cartridge I will get numerous checks this weekend so hopefully we will get a feel for things again. I had hoped DD would be helpful regarding spotchecks, but that hasn't worked out. :? She starts classes again next week. Shoulda known to just stay on top of things myself. :roll:
