Dodged the increase! A dive into greens overnight. Appetite is still low, but he ate his baby food + Clavamox this morning. (He refused last night's dose.) We'll keep an eye on his appetite today.

Is Oberon getting a follow on visit with the vet to check his mouth?

Appetite is definitely better now. He bit my hand (Oberon-speak for "feed me") and ate a bunch of his regular food. Then demanded string cheese when I was eating some, and tried to steal an animal cracker. Much better!

The dentist usually likes to do a 2 week checkup, but since we're far away and pretty much on top of things they said we could just check in by phone, and maybe do photos of his mouth or something if there's anything we're concerned about. If there's anything really worrying me we can make the trip, though.

You should see him with Cheetos! (I don't let him have any, but he'd steal them out of my mouth if he could.) I do give him a few little bits of string cheese; I figure that's low carb and fairly safe.
