From your SS, it looks like you aren't planning on testing until late in the cycle. Is this the plan? If so, please get a test in at or before +3. You don't know where Webber is going to take this surf.

    Re: 1/24 Webber AMPS 195

Thank you Sienne I will be sure to do that. And you are so right, if he seems to take it a little lower I will be testing more often today. I was looking at his SS last night and noticed that I never really get any testing is those other areas, so I made sure to remind myself to test those today. :D

And a big thank you to all who has cheered Webber on! :YMHUG:

Yes I am cautiously optimistic at this point because as you can see from Webber's SS he has been surfing the blues since yesterday morning. I am trying to not gets myself set up for disappointment because I have seen how crazy all of our cats little sugardances can get. ;-)

He was so very playful this morning and it may me so happy. I guess I didn't realize how inactive he had become with the diabetes.

Re: 1/24 Webber PMPS [210] Question about new strips

Webber's PMPS Bg test was using a new bottle of strips with a new lot#. Is there anything I should be doing to test that these strips are ok? When I used to work in the lab we would test the last strip at the same time as the new strip and compare the values, but I forgot to do this and ran out of the old strips. confused_cat

    What kind of meter?
Some meters have a solution you can use to test them and make sure they are in range. Other than that, if its in range, there really should not be any worries. Ive always wondered it myself, but never found anything unusual.

I do have a control solution but it is expired lol. I think it will be ok. I didn't do anything either Nicole with my last new strips. I think I was not wanting Webber's PS to be in the yellow's yet  Hehe.

Re: 1/24 Webber PMPS [210] Question about new strips

I go through a lot of strips and I've only rarely checked with control solution. The times I've check is because I'm trying to figure out if there's something to explain Gabby having wonky numbers. I usually want to rule everything else out before I throw out a Lantus cartridge so I'll run a control test strip. I've never found the strips to be out of range. I think if I had expired strips, I would be more diligent in checking if the reading was in range.

I think I am going to spare Webber's ears tonight. But I may just not be able to help myself and get one more before bed. My boy looks good in blue. Webber has been my little miracle boy this weekend. party_cat
