...in which we decided NOT to take a shave, because of a teeny inverted curve.

I suspect that what we really have is a case of measurement creep. As in, the measurement creeped from skinny 1.5, measured as 1.33, to skinnier 1.5, more like 1.25, over the course of the week. Kathy The Timid seems to fear too much more than too little, which is not necessarily sensible for this kitty at this dose. :YMSIGH:

You just killed me with those nachos. It's all I can do to stop myself from going to the store at 1:30AM to get all of the makings for them. Thanks a lot! :twisted:

Kitty is pretty darn flat. I'm sure he could handle a shave again if you took one. Just mix up the spot checks during the day a bit more in the future. Never know what may be happening at other parts of a cycle than what you *usually* test.
