Still in the pinks, but just barely. Hopefully, he will come down. He woke me around 3:30 this morning. He had managed to get his front legs out of his little shirt and the shirt was almost completely off of him and his back legs were through the front leg holes. Not sure how he managed to do that, but it was pretty funny. I got his shirt back on him and made DH2B get up to feed him. :) He ate 5/8 of a can of FF (chunky turkey feast, of course).

This morning, he ate another 5/8 of a can of FF. I think he's feeling better...we were almost through with his tube feeding (half-way through the syringe) when he just took off running! He ran through the house with the syringe attached to his tube. We finally caught up with him after the sryinge came loose. He had food all over him and the house. Oh well...guess he was full.

Re: 1/28 Logan AMPS 305

Oh Kelly - what a laugh that was for me this morning reading this condo. I remember those tube feeding days all too well and remember Max taking off on me many times. I would scream to DH "grab him, he's coming with the syringe still in the tube". Seemed it wasn't long after he started doing that that I woke up at 2:00 am for a feeding and he was laying in the chair with his tube on top of his belly cleaning himself.

No doubt Logan will be hitting some yellers today. A full belly and some exercise - sounds like the start of a good day

Re: 1/28 Logan AMPS 305

Logan sounds feisty today....just picturing him halfway out of his little shirt...awwww
Give him a hug from us and I hope you all have a good day Kelly! :-D

I am so glad that we're not the only ones this happens to! I wasn't laughing at the time, but it was definitely funny after the fact. I think all three of us will be happy to get that thing out of him.

Feisty is right, Pat. He even gave us a little trouble with testing. And he's totally pushing the other cats and the dogs out of his way now. Last night, Niam (dog) was apparently in his way. Logan sniffed at him and stared at him for about 2 seconds and when Niam didn't move Logan just pushed him out of the way - Niam is 23 lbs and Logan is around 19lbs so it's a good match up. He did the same thing to Preston in the LB...poor Preston nearly fell out of the LB (Preston had a neurological disorder so he's not very steady at times). Logan just plowed him over and started going. He didn't care if Preston was done or not. Hilarious...classic Logan.

Now that was funny to read about the shirt  Logan sure is a scruffy fighter!

I guess by now, everyone in your house, 2 legged and 4 legged, have been clearly shown who is the boss!

Hope you see some good numbers later today!

Shadoe says hi cuz Logan looks just like her.

Well, he's definitely feeling better...took off on DH2B halfway through his feeding. This time the syringe broke off the end of the tree thing that's at the end of the tube. DH2B had to chase him down and change that out while the tube was full of food. Glad it was DH2B and not me.

He did meet him at the door and ate 3/4 of a can of FF.

ETA: Tested negative for ketones at +6.

Well, I think he may have been a little too active today...doesn't seem to feel too hot tonight. He ate about 3/8 of a can of FF, but I had to sprinkle some dry Core on it to entice him. Hopefully, he'll perk up a bit by bedtime.

Great Logan stories today Kelly.
Glad he is energy for all the running and you chasing him.
DH2B really has his handsful with all of you.
Great that you have such amazing support at home.

Run Logan, Run. And don't forget to eat.

I think he definitely overdid it today. Not enthusiastic about food, at all. I got him to eat about 3/8 can, but I had to put some dry Core on top of it...even then, he wasn't thrilled with it. I cut his tube feeding amount to 1/3 can of a/d (he was getting 2/3 can every 8 hrs). Hoping he wakes me up for a snack! He is quite grumpy tonight, too!
