Morning LLanders! ~O)

Well I guess I was right...I forgot his shot last night...my brain is fried these days! I know, he will recover and the shed will get filled but I still hate that my memory and concentration is so messed up these days. :YMSIGH:

Morris seems none the worse for a missed dose, except for the whopper BG this morning. @-) However, so far he hasn't done any of the Ps ... when I got up it was shot time and he was still sleeping in his catnapper...which was where I got his test and gave his shot. He proceeded to watch me prepare his breffuses (yes, there are two, just to entice him) and then just stayed in the catnapper. I will go out in 5-10 minutes and nudge him if he's not up yet.

He slept in the bed again last night AND he played with his toy...YAY!! It was only one toy but that's a start. flip_cat

New vet says to stop the Flagyl now as it may be contributing to the diarrhea...the other vet said he'd need more time on it but I'm stopping it just to see. Continuing with the Digest-all probiotics, which I started yesterday morning, so maybe that's why he hasn't had a poo yet....hoping it is firming up as I write...LOL

Guess I won't see green again today with that missed shot...OK, I'll stop dwelling on it now. :mrgreen:

Sounds as if Morris is feeling better....hope you two have a good day today Brenda!
It is really so wonderful to hear how he played with his toy and slept with you last night...
I am just so relieved that he is so much better.... :YMHUG: I know YOU must be so happy!

Brenda--Sorry for the high BG--Glad to hear Morris is unaffected by it!! Next time, look for the thrown away syringe(I've spent a bit of time in my garbage!) I think the best news is the playing with a toy because that means he's not feeling all that bad at all.

Yes, I know the eating is a good thing to see and so is sleeping with you, but it's the toys that get me the most excited.

I am sure the Morris will come around; just give him lots of attention and some time.
I like the slower drops over the cliff drops any day because we KNOW what happens when they hit that bottom!

Sorry about the fur shot. We all have them. Can't change it. Hopefully Morris will come down nicely. Glad he is feeling better. Have a good day Brenda.

Sorry to hear about the fur shot! That is so great that Morris is playing with his toys again!!! Sure hope he is working on firming up & will make his way to the LB soon!

Coming down pretty well from the missed shot.

AND he had back to back poos around noon today! Count 'em -2 poos within 1 hour. Then he went out on the porch and groomed himself. Are there any P's missing today??? I don't think so! flip_cat flip_cat flip_cat

AND they were semi-firmed pooos, the firmest I've seen in almost a month!!! Can you say, Yay Team!!! :RAHCAT :RAHCAT :RAHCAT

No wonder Morris is feeling so pleased with himself, grooming for the congratulations.

What a funny condo today! Lots of poohy talk.
You know when I was reading along about the bed, the playing and sleeping late while you prepared two (!) breakfasts for Morris, and you would nudge him out of bed in 10-15 minutes if he wasn't up yet ....well, it sort of sounded like you were talking about a teenage boy instead of a cat!

Morris is coming back from his missed shot pretty quickly, that is nice to see.

Recovered pretty quickly from the missed shot...hope to see green tomorrow! :mrgreen:

Refused all but a few bites of dinner, then proceeded to have a paint-peeling poo, just a small one but OMG ohmygod_smile - are these things never going to end??? I'm taking a sample in tomorrow for testing to see if he's gotten any better, bacteria-wise. I am SO ready to stop talking about poos!!! :?
 
Still looks like it getting better and better even with a paint-peeling poo.
