Tucker had surgery again yesterday. The day before I noticed a little lump under his mouth. The biopsy came back with another mast cell tumour. The vet suggested it come out right away so that it didn’t grow upwards towards his mouth or into his throat. Anyone who knows Tucker knows that curbing his ability to eat would change his quality of life tremendously... so we acted fast. They ended up taking a tooth out as well. He’s still very handsome and within minutes of getting home he ate a can of Fancy Feast (then finished Teddy’s dinner as well).
I also had surgery this week so Tucky and I are cuddled up recovering together on a cold Winter day in Australia! I’m watching his BG carefully after the anaesthetic, so far he is behaving himself!

I am so sorry Tucker has had another mast cell tumour turn up but great you caught it early and have been able to successfully remove it.

That’s our Tucker! Having a food motivated diabetic cat is a blessing!
Vines to you as well

Holy smokes, the little porker. Even Little Dude doesn't wolf down calories like that. I am glad to hear he is pretty stable and enjoying another winter in Adelaide.

Leo had mast cell tumors too. We had them removed just to be careful. I hope you and Tucker are recovering well. It sounds like Tucker has not missed a beat in his quest for food, and potentially skittles.

Chinus celebrated her 15th BDay on June 29, 2021. We adopted her and Leo during the same 2 weeks as kittens....so very long ago. She is doing well for a 15 year old, and we are spoiling her rotten. Her favorite thing is to cuddle with Dad for 30 minutes of reading before we go to bed. It doesn't get any better than that.

I hope Tucker is back to food raids in no time! :bighug::bighug:

For what it's worth, your spreadsheets don't have permission set up for us to view it.

I think we will have to start over, I can’t get into the spreadsheet either. We’ve tried everything and can’t back into it. Tucker has bounced back remarkably today! I caught him breaking into a box of snack bars today- we had a good laugh about the fact they were Atkins…so at least he was trying to get low carb treats?!?
