I hope he gets to feeling better soon! I think I might be calling the vet for blood in stool. Just MHO.

    Have a good day Jamie.

Update on Bella labs came back good and No sign of infection, when I got him home he had a lot of gas, he is just barely nibbling at him food, the vet said Bella didn’t need insulin omg! Not the normal one we see, so I will continue to try and get him to eat and if not will syringe feed him, he is peeing and drinking and even was kneading on Andy and used his scratching post so I’m clueless

Wow! What an encouraging yet confusing update. It would be great if he really didn't need insulin! I hope he starts eating well soon. :bighug:

I hope Bella eats for you soon. I took a civvie to the vet one time for blood in her stool and everything came back normal. They couldn't say why it happened. She was fine afterwards. It was just a one time thing. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

    Syringe/Assisted Feeding (Video and Tips)

If you can get something like Royal Canin Recovery (LC) or A/D (slightly MC), they are pretty easy to syringe feed. Once Neko got a few syringes of Recovery in her, it would "prime the pump" and she'd most often start eating on her own. Since Bella is long haired, you might want to do a "bib" or scarf on the front of him. Keep in mind that what you syringe feed might cause food aversion to that particular food, otherwise I'd suggest using the blender on his regular food. I had a hepatic lipidosis foster go completely off of chicken for a few months because of being syringe fed chicken - Recovery in that case.

Going for something higher calorie means you don't need to get as much food in. I tried to get at least 2/3 of Neko's daily calories in her. For the foster, I tried feeding every couple of hours, a few syringes at a time until he told me he was done. He liked to "hide" in a laundry basket, which actually made it quite easy for me to contain him and feed him. Neko was much easier going.

Tons of vines going your way. Feel better Bella. :bighug:

Great news from the vet. Maybe Bella is planning on a surprise. His BG is really good. :D
What did the Vet think the reason is for Bella not eating? How long did he go without food?

( Maybe Bella's on the " KITTY CRAIG " diet for the New Year? ):p

Pancreatitis? I had better luck when I made bone broth, Smokey and Ollie just ate it up. Didn't like the commercial kind, of course it was to easy for me.

This is the recipe I used. I didn't cook it as long (used slow cooker). Only enough to get the marrow out. Then put in fridge in one container makes it easy to separate the fat off the top. Froze in ice cube tray and then put in baggie to store in freezer, take out one cube when needed.

Don't know if phos is an issue with Bella, but it got my guys eating. I would put a small amount on top of their food.

The stinky poo concerns me, but that was Smokeys symptom and the grey color stool for pancreatitis.

Thanks Jamie, I know what you mean! It's really nice to still see some familiar people about, though not many which makes me very sad.
These last 8 or so months with Grem being unregulated again has been very strange and trying for me but we're managing! He's now just so old with so much going on that I felt I really needed the friendly faces and kind words here again. I think next time I disappear will because my boy has crossed the rainbow bridge. But hopefully that's not just yet.
I really do hope Bella has a turn around soon, you must be so, so worried about him. It's frustrating that the vet didn't find anything that could indicate why.
