Taz only ate 1/4 of a can for dinner last night, so I only gave him 1 unit of insulin at 8pm. I left 1/3 can of food out for him and he ate it between midnight and 2am.
This morning his glucose was 506. He wanted to eat, but only licked it a little and then walked away. I blended him some friskies pate with water, and force fed him a syringe of it. He acts like eating hurts his mouth, so I'm scared that even if/when the pancreatitis is healed, we're still going to have a problem with him not wanting to eat. Maybe the stress of painful eating caused it in the first place.
Between shoving pills down him, pricking his ear, and now force feeding him, he's avoiding me at all costs.
