I am in California - PST "Gave Dolly 5mg Zyrtec at 3:30 this afternoon. Ate well today until 4:30PM. Pulled food for pre shot fast. Did not eat after pmps (7 pm) but gave her insulin figuring she would eat shortly after. She has not had anything to eat since 4:30, 7 hours ago. Her +4 was 174 (HALF HOUR AGO). I can tell she is nauseous. Licking her lips, won't even drink water. She also had Mirtazapine at 5:30pm.
Will the food she ate earlier today hold her over if she does not eat until morning? If she does not eat in the am I will take her to vet hospital. She has never had Zyrtec before and I can only assume this is what making her not feel well. Is there anything I can do? Out of Cerenia.
She is alert but does not want me to bother her. I am sorry it is so late and I waited so long. Did not want to start another thread.

I would keep monitoring her until at least her normal nadir. Sounds like she is nauseated. I would try offering food, as the food she ate this morning will have been digested by now.
If she drops low and she won’t eat you can rub honey or karo on her lips to bring her up.

I have been offering food the whole time. Food, toss, new food and on. She’s at 201 @+5.5. She’s been awake the whole time, unusual for her. She last ate this afternoon, about 8 hrs ago. She’s coming near me which is a plus, was hiding under the table. Thank you, I will continue to monitor.

If she’s still not eating tomorrow I would definitely take her to the vet to see what is going on.
Good luck.
